Calvin Chen buys a house for his future female lead

The leads of FTV's "Love Buffet" came together to celebrate the airing of the series' first episode and got on the topic of first loves. Male lead, Calvin Chen revealed that he sent a text message for his first love to support him. On the other hand, the other male lead, Aaron Yan could only recall his bitter sweet first love and confessed that it took him four years to get over her. Although Yu Hong Yuan's character has a love story with both male leads, in reality, she and her first love fought so much that they ultimately ended the relationship.

Calvin, who is very good in doing his finances, invested his hard earned money into stocks and real estate, yielding great results. The almost 30 year old Calvin recently bought a 3 bed 2 bath house in Tian Mu district, spending around NT$20,000,000 for a house that was perfect for a "small family". When asked whether he sought out a house so actively because he wanted to have "a golden house to for his beloved", Calvin laughed and said that his female lead has yet to appear, but he wants to make preparations just in case.

Liking his privacy, Calvin does not like fans following him home. In contrast, Aaron cannot resist the pleadings of fans abroad and his mother had to especially talk with the building manager to settle on a time and area where fans can observe their idol from.

Aaron Yan Spends 3 Hrs on Skincare

Aaron Yan is endorsing for a female skincare brand and he discloses he spends 3 hours on skincare everyday. But he minds others saying he is a "flower boy": "I don't want people to think I only rely on my looks." Asked whether he is worried others saying he is acting like a girl, he said: "No, I can attract the homosexual group. Plus there's nothing wrong with it!"

The actor cares about his looks a lot. Not only he plucks eyebrows on his own, he also pays attention to his eyes and he demonstrated how to massage on the area at the press event.

But the Fahrenheit member admits he does have his manly side. he would go to the gym and workout often. When he heard you can have abs with plastic surgery, he jokes: "It's too painful, I don't dare to do that. Plus I don't know if I should take it out when I gets old."

Aaron collaborates with the goddess in his heart Patty Hou in idol drama "Love Buffet." GTV and FTV's youth idol drama "Love Buffet" is about to fight for ratings at the Sunday primetime idol drama slot, and recently held a promotion event. Female lead Reen Yu was unafraid of the cold as she wore a cheerleading outfit exposing her midriff. Instead it was the two male leads Arron Yan and Calvin Chen who were wrapped tightly in clothes. Facing the media's questions, Calvin Chen promptly answered, "We're going to take off clothes in the drama!" One bathing scene made him generously expose his butt.

For good luck in the ratings, the two male leads Arron Yan and Calvin Chen rode especially prepared exercise bikes, while Reen Yu cheered them on at the side, embodying a cheerleader. "Love Buffet" is a drama adaptation of Nagamu Nanaji's popular manga "Parfait Tic!". Calvin Chen and Arron Yan play cousins who are polar opposites in personality, both falling in love with the female protagonist, thus resulting in a complicated love triangle.

Reen Yu was revealed by the two guys that she loves to take care of her skin. Arron Yan immediately teased that he once went by her room, and he saw all spread out on her floor were cosmetics and skin care products. Calvin Chen also joined in and said, "If Arron Yan says it's really a lot, then it's really a lot! Because he himself has a lot of skin care products!"

Aaron Yan dishes advice for preparing a bed scene

The actor gave his first bed scene experience to Serena Fang.
What does it take for one to prepare for a bed scene? For Aaron Yan, all it took was five simple steps.
In his recent drama Gloomy Salad Days, the story described Aaron and co-star Serena Fang falling in love with each other during their past lives.
On the day of the shoot, the singer-actor dived straight to the set of the drama after completing overseas commitments and filmed his first bed scene for the drama. While it might have looked like an easy scene, Aaron was actually stressed out.
"I didn't know where to put my hands, or how much body contact we should have," said the idol.
The director Zero Chou however told Aaron to "give himself to Serena Fang".
Aaron undertook the scenes responsibly and even came up with five steps of preparation, namely "brushing teeth, putting on perfume, doing push-ups, wearing swimming trunks and taking in a bit of alcohol".
Apart from brushing his teeth for at least 10 minutes in order to retain the freshness of his breath, he even sprayed on perfume, which was said to excite female hormones. The actor demanded Serena to grade him and his co-star gave him "face", by replying "not bad" shyly.
As the singer-actor also wanted to look great on television, he did a couple of push-ups before the actual filming.
He explained, "I wasn't sure which part of my body was going to be revealed, so I trained up my back and arm muscles."
Furthermore, Aaron wanted to wear only underwear for the scene, but added an extra pair of swimming trunks after the production crew warned him about accidentally exposing more than he should.
Lastly, to relax his nerves, Aaron drank some alcohol before the shoot, only to fall asleep while the director was adjusting the camera. She shook him for a period of time before he woke up.
"I wanted to just take away my nervousness initially, but I guess I ended up being too relaxed," said Aaron in embarrassment.
Aaron's courage boosted after this experience, claiming that he would "take more clothes off the next time".
